Our Spectacular Destinations
Manyoni
The magnificent 23,000-hectare Manyoni Private Game Reserve, one of the largest privately-owned reserves in KwaZulu-Natal. Established in 2004 by 17 dedicated landowners, Manyoni became a protected wildlife haven and a key release site for the WWF Black Rhino Range Expansion Project. Visit Leopard Mountain to experience the unique beauty and conservation success of this remarkable reserve.
Isimangaliso Wetland Park
iSimangaliso Wetland Park, located on the east coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its extraordinary biodiversity, unique ecosystems, and breathtaking natural beauty. Spanning over 332,000 hectares, this park offers a rich tapestry of experiences, from coastal beaches to dense wetlands, making it a premier destination for nature enthusiasts and eco-tourists alike.
Drakensberg Park
The Maloti-Drakensberg Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases the stunning beauty of the Drakensberg Mountains. Stretching across South Africa and Lesotho, this vast park features rugged peaks, deep valleys, and ancient rock art. It offers diverse ecosystems, from alpine meadows to dense forests, providing ample opportunities for hiking, wildlife viewing, botanical and cultural exploration. Munyawana Conservancy
Munyawana Conservancy, established in 1994, spans over 30,000 hectares and integrates several private reserves, creating a vast habitat for wildlife. In 2011, Sungulwane joined the conservancy, marking a shift from fragmented farmland to unified conservation. The initiative restored ecological balance and biodiversity, reintroducing the Big Five and endangered species like Lions, Black and White Rhinos, and Cheetahs. Visiting Sungulwane Lodge immerses you in pristine wilderness, intertwined with wildlife, humanity, and conservation efforts.
Plettenberg Bay
Plettenberg Bay, a jewel on South Africa's Garden Route, boasts pristine beaches, lush Tsitsikamma forests, and exhilarating outdoor adventures. Rorke's Drift
Fugitives’ Drift, set in a 5000 acre game reserve with 22km of river frontage, is a place where the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 is brought back to life. This private game reserve, a registered Natural Heritage Site, overlooks the famous battle sites of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. The Lodge and Guest House face roughly north-east and have commanding views of the peak of Isandlwana and of the rough country the fugitives from the battle had to traverse in order to get back across the Buffalo River into Natal.
